Message from founder
Over the last 20 years I consider myself lucky to have worked in the healthcare sector in Asia and see firsthand the diverse healthcare systems that exist in the region. It is home to some of the world's best, well managed healthcare systems. On the other hand, a significant part of the Asia Pacific population lacks access to quality healthcare systems and infrastructure. Even in countries with strong healthcare systems like Singapore and Taiwan the national cost of healthcare is growing at unsustainable rates. In poorer countries despite good economic growth over the last few decades the local healthcare systems still struggle to meet the consumer demand for healthcare services.
Peach was founded to tackle unmet healthcare needs in Asia by selling digitally enabled healthcare solutions to the market, with the care guided and overseen by a healthcare professional. Rather than build new digital products, Peach will license validated third-party digital health products and then use its commercial and market access capabilities to offer novel healthcare solutions to patients in the region. In essence this will allow us to bridge the gap between improving health outcomes in the region while providing international digital health companies access to the Asia market.
The ethos of the business is to focus solely on the front end of the digital health value chain. Peach Health will establish strengths in understanding the patient, HCP and other stakeholder needs in the region, building excellence in market access and ensuring care models are developed and used in close collaboration and partnership with stakeholders in each country.
This allows us to address one of the big challenges in the digital health space, which is how to commercialize and deploy at scale digital health products. There is no shortage of amazing digital technology and products already available, however there is a big gap in commercialization capabilities in the market. This is space Peach Health Asia intends to play in within the Asia region.
